Magic Trip…
Looks just how I imagined it should/would/could look after all these years!
During and after reading this book I was astounded that the hours and hours of footage shot by The Merry Pranksters (Tom Wolfe actually used this footage to write his book) was never released. Finally, someone made this all too cool looking movie and bought it to Melbourne for MIFF (heartbreakingly I missed it!)
Hopefully it gets some sort of general release asap because, as I said, the trailer describes exactly how I imagined this adventure and era to be from the best book I’ve read!
Keep an eye out.
